LTT System Operations Training
This course will provide an understanding of the LTT System, its operational components and its interaction with the network.
Description
The course will cover:
- Key functions on a detailed, bottom-up worksite basis for:
- CSO control;
- Air management control;
- System maintenance capabilities (introductory only):
- Penstock exercising functions;
- Storm pump testing functions;
- Condition based monitoring functions;
- Network and LTT system interactions at:
- Beckton STW and Abbey Mills PS;

Beckton STW and Tideway PS;

Crossness STW and Greenwich PS;

Earl – Greenwich PS subsystem;

King Edwards Memorial Park - NE Storm Relief (NESR);

Blackfriars Bridge Foreshore;

Victoria Embankment;

Western Pumping Station and Chelsea Embankment;

Lots Road PS/Cremorne Wharf;

Albert Embankment subsystem (including Heathwall PS);

Outcomes
On completion of the training, Delegates are expected to:
- Understand the LTT system and its interaction with the network and the sewage treatment works;
- Be aware of the consequences of network changes on the LTT system operation;
- Have increased confidence in TWUL’s role as the LTT System Operator.
