Maintaining Telemetry Panel Equipment - Part 2

This course covers two training modules. On completion of the course, Delegates will have gained practical, “hands-on” experience in maintaining the equipment the SIC has installed at the Main Works Worksites.

Module 1 - Maintaining Telemetry Panel Equipment - Practical:

The module will cover:

  • Health and Safety (relevant for the working environment covered within this course);
  • Refresh of construction records and site layout;
  • Walk-through of the site to locate equipment;
  • Visual inspection of equipment;
  • Equipment inspection, cleaning and calibration;
  • Routine replacement of consumables;
  • CMMS Updates.

 

Module 2 - Management of Routine and Reactive Maintenance - Telemetry Panel:

The module will cover:

  • Health and Safety (relevant for the working environment covered within this course);
  • Explanation of the SIC’s Maintenance Plan;
  • Explanation of the SIC’s Planned Maintenance Schedules;
  • Explanation of the SIC’s Reactive Maintenance procedures;
  • Explanation of the SIC’s O&M Manuals for Telemetry Panels;
  • CMMS Maintenance Updates.

Outcomes

Module 1 - Maintaining Telemetry Panel Equipment - Practical:

The module will provide Delegates with the practical skills needed to locate and maintain the Telemetry Panel equipment at the Main Works worksites.  On completion of the training, Delegates will be expected to be able to:

  • Locate the Telemetry Panel equipment at a worksite;
  • Inspect, clean and replace consumables;
  • Record and upload maintenance information to the CMMS.

 

Module 2 - Management of Routine and Reactive Maintenance - Telemetry Panel:

This module will provide Delegates with understanding of the maintenance plans and schedules for the Telemetry Panel equipment installed at the Main Works worksites.  On completion of the training, Delegates will be expected to understand:

  • The assets under the Maintenance Plans;
  • The activities and assets within the maintenance schedules;
  • The reactive maintenance procedures and key contacts;
  • How to update the CMMS after planned and reactive maintenance activities.
