The course provides Delegates with an understanding of the as-built documents and the location of SIC installed equipment in the worksites.

Key Topic Areas
The course will cover:
- Health and Safety (relevant for the working environment covered within this course);
- Refresh of what the Main Works Worksite equipment is and what it does;
- Explanation of As-built Records;
- Explanation of telemetry panel maintenance requirements;
- Explanation of how to identify defective equipment.
- Explain how the Maintenance button works
Software and Controls:
- What timers are in the PLC
- What calculations are done in the PLC
- How comms failures work
- Maintenance button
- Identifying which signals go through the Telemetry and which do not
- Identify how the EDM signals work differently from other signals
Outcomes
The course will provide Delegates with an understanding of the as-built documents and the location of SIC installed equipment in the worksites. On completion of the training, Delegates will be expected to:
- Know how to locate the telemetry panel equipment at each worksite;
- Understand the as-built drawings and records for a worksite;
- Understand the SIC planned maintenance schedule for the equipment in a panel (VI, CI, SPI);
- Understand how to identify defective equipment within a Telemetry Panel;
- Understand how to reset or replace equipment within the telemetry panel.
- Understand how to replace a firewall (re-configure)
- Understand how to replace a router (re-configure)
- Understand how to replace a switch (re-configure)
- Understand how to unlock/lock a port (for equipment replacement)
- Understand how to test a signal from SCADA to Worksite PLC and from Worksite to SCADA
Competency/Skills Requirements
Before attending the training, Delegates are expected to complete:
- LTT System Overview;
- LTT SCADA – Basic Understanding;
- LTT SCADA – Fault Recording;
- Understanding Telemetry Panel Operation
