Structural Inspection Courses

This course provides training on how to inspect the access steel work used across the TTT scheme, e.g. ladders, stairways, access hatches and handrails. It also provides training on how to operate the access hatches and the vortex safety grilles.

This course provides an understanding of the design provisions within the permanent works to facilitate the tunnel and shaft inspections. It also provides an understanding of how to access the tunnel; the ventilation requirements for shaft/tunnel entry and how to find the CCTV coverage reports. This course also provides a summary of the 10-year inspection plan

This course provides an understanding of the design provisions within the permanent works to facilitate the inspection of structures, e.g. CCTV or drones for access covers and personnel access to below ground structures via ladders. It also provides training on where to find the CCTV coverage reports and an understanding of the typical CCTV and lighting technologies that are available to support the inspections.
