Outcomes

Module 1 - Setpoint Management:

The module will provide Delegates with the understanding and practical skills required to understand and process setpoints within LTT SCADA.  On completion of the training, Delegates will be expected to understand:

  • The LTT SCADA setpoints;
  • How to amend setpoints;
  • How to navigate and generate setpoint change reports.

Module 2 - Operator Control – Task Execution:

This module will focus on how operators will be able to implement functions in the LTT SCADA system.  Delegates will be introduced to the operational aspects of the system and provided with hands on exposure to the LTT SCADA System in the classroom on a simulated environment.  On completion of training Delegates will be expected to understand:

  • How to process the Extreme Wet Weather control function in LTT SCADA;
  • How the control functions for all user groups;
  • How to request control;
  • The force control function;
  • How to process tunnel isolation;
  • How to process exercise routines.

Competency/Skills Requirements

Similar courses

This course covers three training modules. On completion of the Course, Delegates will be able to understand and operate the LTT SCADA System during normal wet weather and extreme wet weather and understand how the equipment that is needed and affected by this operation functions.

More Information

This course covers two training modules. On the completion of the course, Delegates will understand the status of tunnel-wide operations; be able to view the Lee Tunnel mimics and understand the status of the Lee Tunnel. Delegates will also understand the interface between the Regional and LTT SCADA and will know how to monitor the status of all worksites, including the status of plant equipment across the LTT.

More Information

This course covers two training modules. On completion of the course, Delegates will understand how to recognise failures and how they are presented within the LTT SCADA, including the alarms associated with each type of failure. The course will include telecommunication, device, and power failures.
